Bubble Talk Animation?

Are there any titles or something would allow for you to make something look like it is speaking through bubble talk. Showing the words as he says them? I'm aware of the title with the bubbles, but I'm trying to have something say words quickly as he says them, instead of me drawing it slowly?

Any ideas?

Hi Kriller -

You can do that with the speech bubble templates, just by:

1. setting the duration of the title to match what is said
2. taking out the starting & ending effects of (a) the dialogue balloon & (b) the text (i.e. no effect)... or reducing the effect duration to almost nothing.

N.B. Durations for the balloon (.png) & text transitions need to be set separately.

Cheers - Tony

Thanks, but how do I make it where the bubble will show on the picture that I have? It seems when I put it on a different video track it just doesn't show up. Do you know what I mean?

Your picture needs to be in a track "above" the bubble. Such as picture in track 1 and bubble in track 2.

It sounds like you are using the wrong tracks for video and effects.

The top track, #1 should have your main video media.

Everything you want on top of that, like text, must be placed below. Place the bubble on a video track below and it will show on top of your video.

Then you place your text below the bubble so the text will be on top of the bubble.

It's just layers, like looking up from below, you see the text, then the bubble, then the video.

Hope this is what you are needing. Richard

Wnuk & Richard -

Agreed - that's the problem!

Boy, I'm not sure what I'm missing. It's still not working. I have the setup like this. Picture, with separate audio on track 1. Then I have a different guitar audio on the audio for track 2. Then I tried adding the bubble pip to track 2 video, but nothing shows up? Any ideas?

Are you previewing your work in Clip mode instead of the correct Movie mode?
