Hello all,

I am using Power Director 9. Unfortunately I have found that it will not allow me to cut and paste from other projects that I have already completed so I have to redo my video editing from our wedding video. The problem is Power Director 9 is not allowing me to capture. Even if I use the previous video I made on PD9, it will not let me capture. (I can play but the record button will not work) I used the same process with my VHS to DVD software like I did previously and it is not allowing me to capture. Any suggestions or help on how to get this video downloaded and captured again would be great!

Thanks,

Burton

I don't know about the capturing part, but you can import a project to the media room. That will bring in all of its pieces and parts, and you can then add them to your work. Jerry Schwartz

Yeah, I tried but it wouldn't let me upload the media. Well, let me correct that, it let me upload from the other project but it would not let me alter the work done on the other project. Meaning where I did the focus to highlight my in-laws dancing at the wedding, I can not change that. So I need to start from scratch.

Thank you again for your help. For some reason it would not let me alter the project I brought over where I had previously modified the part I needed. Fortunately, I found the original captures that I did on a different laptop I own so it looks like I may get this done the way I want. Thanks again for all your help.
