Unable to Install Patch build 3409 (PowerDVD 7.0)

Running Setup:

Setup could not find a file on the specified parth or disk.

Unable to locate file T:\tmp\cyberlink\PowerDVD.msi

Error in more detail (running CyberLink.3409(EVR)_DVD071008-02.exe)


Setup could not find a file on the specified path or disk.

Please check that the proper disk is inserted or specify a new path.

Unable to locate file C:\Users\<user>\AppData\Local\Temp\pft6099.tmp\PowerDVD.msi



PowerDVD Error

Error 1706:No valid source be found for product PowerDVD. The Windows Installer cannot continue.


Feature transfer error

Error:-1603 Fatal error during installation

Consult Windows Installer Help (Msi.chm) or MSDN for more information.

1) extract (right click option) your CyberLink.3xxx......exe to a new folder
2) find there large .cab file (usually data1.cab) & extract it tj this new folder too (not in Newfolder\data1, but just in Newfolder
3) move this new folder to any root directory (4example, C:\Newfolder, D:/newfolder etc
4) run setup.exe from this new folder

I too have this issue

I Tried Khebeb's method but I ened up getting both Errors 1706 and 1603 attempting to install: CyberLink.3409(EVR)_DVD071008-02.exe

I sucessfully installed: CyberLink.3118(EVR)_DVD070604-08.exe as a patch to:

CyberLink_PowerDVD7_Deluxe_3118EVR.exe (Which was build DVD070604-05).

Why am I having this issue?
