Hi HD_PD
Downloaded and tested your clip in my laptop's PD10 Ultra (full). Upon a regular playback, the clip seems fine.
When using the frame advance key, I count a total of 43 frames, and notice that with each frame, from first to last, that the cat is in motion.
But... I do also notice that frames 42 and 43 are identical.
I then Produced to Mpeg2 BD 1920x1080, which yielded the following results.
Note: All my hardware acceleration options and Quick Sync technology was turned on.
- I now counted only 36 total frames (using the frame advance button).
- Frames 18 and 19 were identical
- Frame 20 displayed as a black screen
- Frames 31 through 36 were identical (i.e. Frozen), with 7 frames apparently missing (?)
I then Produced again to the Mpeg2 BD 1920x1080 profile.
Note: This time, turned off all HA options.
- This render yielded the same total, of 43 frames, as your sample clip.
- Frames 42 and 43 were once again identical
Not withstanding the change in the total number of frames between the two renders, I also noticed (in Properties), a slight change in the reported bit rate between the HA(on) and HA(off) renders.
I know this doesn't help resolve your issue. I'm not tech savvy enough to draw any conclusions. Just offering (for what it's worth), these results for the record.
Hope you, or CL, gets it sorted out.
