Will I receive the FULL version of PD10, per this ad?

This is very confusing. I received this email from Cyberlink after signing up for the forum here. I do NOT have the trial, nor any previous version of PD.

Will I be getting the FULL version with this special, if I purchase via this link in the email? Will it install and work without any previous or current version already on my system?

Yes..that reference to "Upgrade to PowerDirector 10 Ultra including Romance Pack V.3: US$ 94.95 " is confusing.

To clarify, you are using the TRIAL version...if you buy the software you will receive the FULL version.

NOTE: Download all your files on the confirmation invoice and SAVE THEM. Then:

1. Uninstall the TRIAL version prior to installing the new file.
2. Install the Powerdirector 10 program and content packs.
3. Open the program and enter the registration Key and Register.
4. Click on the word POWERDIRECTOR in the upper-right of the program...If you are not running 10.0.0.1012..download the update patch from the top of this page under "Downloads" and install THAT!

Thanks for the info.

But , I DON'T have the trial, and dont plan to install it on this system.

I want to start fresh with the full version on a new drive, as I am reading about too many issues with installing PD10 on drives with previous or current trial versions.

I plan to download the trial on another drive, but have not yet.

So I assume that the full version (link in email) will install on a NEW drive, with no previous trial?

I guess I am confused as to how the email was sent then... as it stated....

I apologize for mis-reading your initial post. If you purchase the FULL version, will install without any product on your system (I did not get the email you got, but from your description, it is to the FULL version).

I do not believe the trial and the Full version can co-exist...even if it is on another drive! I should have said, IF you install the Trial, remove it before you install your new product (and then follow steps 2-4 above).
