How can I change default background image?

Hi
I am trying to use a different default background for a slide show. Currently, by default, PD9 has a black background if for places there is no image (IE when a verticle photograph only uses part of the viewable screen, what is left is black). How can I change this background to either a different color or to a custom image?

Use a color board on track 1 put your slide show on track 2.
Expand the color board to fill the total time of your slide show.

The area where there is no image should show the color board.
Track 2 will be on top of track 1 at all times unless you make the tracks transparent.

Not that I know of.

The Black is actually nothing. It is not a color in this case.
