Quote: I will run malwarebytes again. It didn't find anything the last time I ran it. this is a 2 month old install. Still pretty fresh. I believe my processor is a AMD athlon IIx4 650 Could this be my problem?
Win 7
8 gb ram

No, the processor is not the problem.

You might try Microsoft Security Essentials for your malware scanner.
Just search for it.

NO luck: I removed AVG and installed Microsoft Security Essentials. Ran full scan. Nothing found. When I produce to ipad it freezes at 2:38. When I produce to H264 also freezes at 2:38. This is the same point before MSE or AVG installation. Would any of this have to do the the video card I have installed? It took 2:00 hours + to scan last night. This is getting frustrating.

You should always check the manufacturer's site for the latest Video Card driver.

You should also periodically check the various manufacturers for new drivers for motherboard, such as audio drivers and Chip-set drivers.

You might check what you have on the timeline at the 2:38 point, if it is a transition or MP3 file, you try removing that transition or mp3.
Something at the 2:38 point on the timeline is stopping producing.
