3D-BD HD 1280*720p is rendered only 60P (no choice for 50P)

MY source is MVC 1920 50i from Sony TD10.
Rendering 1920 50i to 1920 24P is very jerky, especially on panning.
Rendering 1920 50i to 1280 50P in Vegas Pro is appropriate, but without menu and subtitles.
I hoped, that CPD10 will fix this, but it outputs my 3D-BD only in 1280 60P. (Of course, my project preferences are set to PAL(50P).

You are right - I had some discussion with Cyberlink about that two days ago, and I also hope that they will rework that. It is simply wrong to go to 720 60p, especially if you start with 1080 50i footage from a PAL Sony TD10 or JVC TD1.

Rending 1080 50i to 1080 24p is possible with some special tricks in Vegas, but given that your footage is 50i it will not show a better result compared with if you render to 720 50p. BUT that is something that the PD10 still has to learn. Kind regards,
Wolfgang

I'm from swissland, no 25ips and 50ips for BD3D is a real problem for europe, all camera is 25 or 50 ips and 24ips is long and bad conversion and 60ips is bad too.

Why only this resolution ? we are need 1920x1080 25ips and 1920x1080 50 ips

Oh it is a problem - since the Blu Ray consortia has defined 720 50p, 720 60p and 1080 24p only for 3D Blu Rays. No 1080i at all!! So Cyberlink had no choice for 3D Blu Rays to go for 1080i.

So if you live in PAL country as I do, you have 2 generic choices: go for 720 50p for 3D Blu Ray, or go for 1080 24p. When you come from Sony TD10 or JVC TD1 footage, 720 50p would be easier - but unfortunately, that is missing in PD10. So what we really would need is 720 50p - 1080 24p is possible but the conversion from 1080 50i to 1080 24p is very trickey, not sure how good it can be done in PD10.

But we are not 720p 50 ips in PowerDirector 10 , we are need 50ips in Pal mode, all camera have 25 ips or 50ips in Europe, Cyberlink can't selling in europe or Pal region without this 720p 50ips, conversion in 1080p 24ips or 720p 60ips is really too bad with low quality in Power director 10,it's no acceptable for HD and client.

It's no correct to selling in Europe with no PAL format...

We are talking here about 3D only.

For 2D BDs, I think you can render to a lot of different interlaced formates tool Kind regards,

For Europe,they are not 720p 50ips for BD3D, 720p 50ips is standard for PAL
