Who knows more about it?
When I started PD just before, my attention was drawn to a Patches-Upgrade-Window in the right lower corner of the screen - which led me to the above cited patch.
But I cannot find information about WHAT it patches...

Michael.

Do you find the patch 3305 there?
I can't.
Otherwise I wouldn't have asked here...

I do not believe that is a released Cyberlink Powerdirector 9 patch.

1. Where did you get that file?
2. Open the progran, click on the word POWERDIRECTOR on the upper right and tell us the build you have(mine is Ultra64 9.0.0.2930).

Hi!
The patch is here:
http://update.cyberlink.com/ftpdload/patch/PowerDirector/VDE110624-04/CyberLink.3305_GM6_Patch,_VDE110624-04.exe
PD found it after starting and displayed info that upgrade is available.
Maybe it was uploaded to a server but the info is not yet released?

Cheers
Marcin

I also got the request to load this patch when I started my Powerdirector 9 64-bit version.
I'm not sure the full extent of what it does, but I can confirm that it seems to FIX the bug that prevented the Intel Quick Sync technology form being enabled in the tools menu for Sandy Bridge processors unless you had a specific obsolete Intel HD video driver. (This was the subject of another thread)
I just enabled Quick Sync and did a test production on a 10 minute HD video. It produced very fast, and a quick preview seemed to show good quality transcoding.

OK..still not sure what that is...it does appear that it patched PD9. I will PM the moderator (in case he is sleeping) and see if he will look in here.

Hi Fred,
I've installed the intriguing patch of mystery and PD reports it is at version 9.0.0.3305 afterwards.

Unfortunately I'm not familiar enough with PD to know what's changed!

Regards,
David.

I have asked Dafydd to lend an opinion on what this is...It might be a machine specific patch...I do not get the update prompt in PD9

I've been waiting for this patch for months, having raised a support request with Cyberlink to address the Quick Sync issue.

EDITED: I used the PD9 program to check for updates, and this patch came up as valid.
They will have a list of the fixes included when it gets posted in the "Software Updates" section of the Cyberlink site, but each patch fixes SOMETHING for just about everyone.

Anyone who notices a resolved/fixed problem....let everyone know, by coming back here, ok??

Still no hint about it on the CL site, Carl pointed out in his reply - strange.

Hi,
Ok, some can see and others cant view the new patch 3305 displayed in the PD9 dialogue box. There are some technical issues with the patch download centre and there isn't a formal release on the software updates page.

Sorry Fred, I was awake but wanted to see if more info came in this morning.
