Hi Landdon and Nina,
It does appear to be possible. Or at least it worked for me using the following steps.
- Open
WaveEditor > Click on
Record Audio (microphone icon).
- Click on
Settings > Set
Audio Profile as desired > Set
Audio Device to internal card (if other device is shown).
Set
Audio Input to
Stereo Mix. (Note: You may have to lower the Internet audio volume, and/or system volume, as well as experiment with the input Volume slider to avoid an oversaturated distorted recording, as the audio meter in WaveEditor does not appear to be too accurate) > Click
OK.
- Click on R
ecord button to start recording the Internet audio > Click on
Stop button to stop recording (Recorded audio waveform will now fill the WaveEditor screen) > Click
Close.
- Click
File >
Save Track As > Name the file > Click
Save.
A .wav audio file will be saved in the designated output folder set in PD9’s
Preferences.
