Hi,

It says on that page 1719 fixes the MCE remote issues, I have that version installed and only the pause works.
Any idea when this is going to be fixed?

I can not reproduce your issue here - can you please upate what kind of RC you use (Brand and command set type?)

I've also done an upgrade from PowerDVD10 > 11 then the latest patch... would that make any difference?

the issue you report is fixed with v1719 - can you please let me know your upgrade history:

1. the Version and SR of the PowerDVD 10
2. the Version and SR of the PowerDVD 11 initial Upgrade
3. the Version and SR after patch install for PDVD 11

SR = ShippingRequest = NOT CD-KEy,
it can be found in the about box (with Version)

Thanks Michael for responding. I have the latest version with the patch installed and have been very happy with PDVD 11 ultra other than the remote not working . i have Universal Remote MX-6000 with WMC remote commands learned. When my remote was being programmed by my installer he showed me a number of different Microsoft remote commands in their database. Can you tell me which code set works. If the code set is detailed in their database then great , if not i will have him try them all until we find the right one if your are telling me that there is one that works. Or if you know a certain model with the right code set of the MCE remote that does work i would be willing to buy it.

if the RC can RC6 it should work.

using Keyboard shortcuts as workaround may fail for BD playback as for some BD and configurations this is not working. [e.g. BD-J Keyboard support - can be found in the settings]

I first had PowerDVD10Ultra_1830_DVD100531-02.exe installed (Purchased online)
Then the upgrade I purchased CyberLink.2916(Patch)(Ultra)_DVD110429-07.exe
Then the final patch CyberLink_PowerDVD11_Ultra_Patch_v1719_DVD110510-11.exe

I dont have A SR as I purchased everything online

Can you tell me what MCE remote you are using to control PDVD 11 ultra with. The installer is a friend of mine and came over and we tested every Play/ Pause button in Universal Remote's database and could not get one to work.

about the "SR" all our Software has a SR number - you can see it in the "About" box - the same location you can see the detail Version number

Sorry i mucked up the file names...

THEN Upgraded with CyberLink_PowerDVD11_UPGtoUltra_v1719_r67262_std_to_ultra_DVD110422-14

Ive just reinstalled everything and by the looks of it only the stop button doesnt work...
Also where is this about box???

And is there anyway of turning off the subtitles by default?

also the previous doesnt work to return back to MCE, I have to press the start button.
But all buttons work if im playing a bluray, its only with avi and mkvs the buttons dont work.

i got a remote with rc6 logo and tried it but did not work. the same thing happens, when the blu ray is playing if i push any button on the remote i.e. play, pause ff, rew it throws the screen back to the my movies detail page which is the page that has the description of the movie and the play button. i then uninstalled PDVD and re installed and then did the v1719 patch and still did not work. i have not tried this patch CyberLink.2916(Patch)(Ultra)_DVD110429-07.exe but was wondering if this one needs to be done before v1719 or is ok to do after? i also tried to use the cinema mode which says it is for use with a remote but from inside MCE when i change to cinema mode it opens outside of MCE and then says it cant play these type of files and you need to change back. Any suggestions on anything i need to do to get this to work would be greatly appreciated

sorry but still can not see those issues here on any machine...

suggest that you remove and "RC wrapper" software first it might mixed up your RC config...

Hi its not my remote or setup because it happens on two different machines.
Ive narrowed it down to.... when MCE is open in the background the STOP button doesnt work in PowerDVD. This doesnt happen with any other media apps like Total Media Centre..

My Media Center remote which is rc 6 is not functioning correctly. In cinema mode and windows media center mode the fast forward button and back button skip two chapters ahead and it runs fine with the remote in regular powerdvd 11 ultra mode.

??? Damn its always one thing after another. Can never get a break.

I've gone and unistalled the media center remote from the usb's and reinstalled and still functioning the same. Please help with this fix.

I mainly use it for viewing MKV's
