Help me eliminate a noise line at bottom of videos
[Post New]
I'm having a problem with a line at the bottom of my videos. I asked this a few months back but forgot what we did. I think it was tools/crop, but when I do that it crops too much. How do I put a bit of the video here so I can show what I mean. I see WMV as a code but don't know how to show a video in the forum post. Thanks! Dustie
I'm still working on it....

Try to disable Snap to Reference, if the crop tool crops too much. You can crop even single pixel line, if it is disabled.

Thanks pjc3...now why didn't I think to search my own posts? Been awhile... I didn't know it had been 5 months since I've been trying to learn to do videos. Got sidetracked I'm afraid, but now I'm back at it! Thanks.

What I'd really like to learn is how to not get that noise line in the first place.

Vewehr...disabling Snap to Reference would be wonderful...It might work for me if I could figure out how to do it. I've searched everywhere (well, obviousely not everywhere or I'd have found it) but I can't seem to pinpoint it. I'll keep hunting but if you know, how about letting me know. Thanks! ;

Ah Ha, found it. Have to first click on the clip in the timeline, opening the PiP designer and then hit the drop down arrow on the far bottom right and there it is. I did a search in this forum to find it. It would be a tough thing to find on one's own. I do love this forum! It worked too...thanks again pjc3.

Also figured out how to load a quick vid here (I think) so you can see the line I talk about. I'd still like to know how to load a video and NOT to have to crop out that flickering noisy line. You can't tell here, but at full size the pixels in the line are blue, green and white flickering and the line is about 1/8" thick at the bottom of every video I import into PD9.
