SLIDESHOW time duration
[Post New]
I have a SLIDESHOW with 10 photos.
How do I change the duration of the SLIDESHOW from X seconds to Y seconds?
Dragging each end don't work: <->
Changing the duration of each photo, then putting them in a SLIDESHOW don't work.

If you add more photos it will extend the duration, you could also reduce the speed with PD's power tools.

You using the slide show wizard? If so it makes it the length it "thinks" it should be, that's why not many people ever use it, besides all the other things it does wrong...

Slide shows by hand are the only way to go. __________________________________________

Hi Old Hippie -

As stated above, using the templates means your slideshow is subject to PD's "thinking". If you produce the slideshow as a video file, THEN you can slow it down with Power Tools > Video Speed.

Here's Cap'n Kevin's toot about that... http://www.youtube.com/user/PDtoots#p/u/29/dMqUCY2rjJA

If you build it manually, as Bubba prefers, you can make the durations whatever you want.

Here's another toot with a few ideas about using & customising slideshows in PD... http://www.youtube.com/user/PDtoots#p/u/0/J6PDeatLY1Q

Cheers - Tony

NOTE: 10 photos, not 11.
Power Tools is grayed out when selecting the photos.

Make your slideshow, produce it, and then take that new file and slow it down in powertools.
