Director zone templates i downloaded used to, when i opened them up, show the "your template has been installed" pop up and it would be use able in PD.
But now they show the installed pop up, but don't show up in PD.
Does anyone know how i can solve this?

What was the ratio of the templates you downloaded?

4:3 templates do not show in a 16:9 project.
Same is true 16:9 does not show in a 4:3 project.

So first check your project ratio.

You can also refresh your view of the current templates. Look for the button in the upper left corner of the window. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Carl,
I am in the right Aspect Ratio, but i can not find a refresh button.

NOTE: This is happening with All templates, PIP, tittle etc. But For dvd menus one will show up but when i open up another it replaces the first one.

Even after clicking UBLOCK in properties.

Do a search of the forum.
I know that I saw a post that spoke of the refresh button for downloaded templates.

I don't have PD9 installed, so I can't look.

I have PD8, but I have not done any Director zone downloads lately. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Hi Clancy -

This is happening with EVERY download??? Do you get any message saying that it was installed? or an invalid template message?

Can you post the links for a couple you've tried? We can test here.

Cheers - Tony

Clancy -

There have been many reports of this same thing, and there's no single cure!

I just downloaded the two effects you linked, & they both showed up in the appropriate libraries in a 4:3 project.

Are you using the procedure shown here? http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/posts/list/1781.page#9488

A couple of things to try:
1. Try downloading the effects from within PD, by clicking on the Download link in the top left corner
2. Try downloading - save file - double click (a) with PD running (b) with PD shut down

Sometimes, effects don't show up till after PD is restarted.

Good luck -

Tony

Hi Clancy,

Like Tony, I did a test, and tried to download / install both…
(#1) http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/4776491
(#2) http://directorzone.cyberlink.com/detail/4388612

They both worked fine on my end.
(#1) - Is a Title at a 4:3 AR.
(#2) - Is a Particle at a 4:3 AR.

I’m sure you're not, but sometimes it’s the simplest things that hang us up, so I’ll ask. You’re not looking for (#2) in your Titles Room are you?

Did you check the downloaded section?

(Below Edit tab), there is a drop down (click on "All contents" and select "downloaded")

When i click on the Download from DZ button in PD it opens fine but when i try to drag or right click and add an effect to the timeline it shows this: And never does anything.
