I've just started testing the trial version of PD9 (9.0.0.2701). The programme hangs when I try to access the Transitions room either via the tab or by pressing F8. Would be very much interested in purchasing the software, but obviously not if I can't use all the features. Is this is a restriction/bug with the trial version or something? Would very much like to test our this feature. My specs: Core Duo T2400 1.83GHz, 1.00GB RAM

Without having the information on your computer, it is just a guess,

But I strongly suspect you don't have enough computer.

I agree with Carl, the transitions can often take a while to load. You could try updating to the newest version

(though im not sure if you can on the trial.)

I also agree with Carl, in that you do not have enough computer.
A gig of ram is simply insufficient for anything at all, maybe word processing.
Please supply a dxdiag for us and attach it as a file. The dxdiag is a program of sorts on your computer that will spell out exactly what your computer's innards are made of.
