I am producing a video and have used Cross Transition fading. However, I have since dcecided that I want to change all of them to Overlap transition. Is there a shortcut on PD9 where I can do it one block as opposed to each individual transition - there is rather a lot of them !! Doh !! Thanks,
Ross

By the way:

have you noticed, that in transition(s) (I use mainly FADE transition) the movie freezes a couple of frames before/after transition ?
It is very, very bad looking ( as for me)

second thing: be aware that when you change transition from switchover to overlay the lenght of the whole movie is shorter than before (keep on eye the rest of the tracks not to be resynchronized)

bankroot.... lower your preview resolution and that normally solves the stuttering at transitions and titles on slower, and integrated video card, and most other machines.... (including mine and everyone else s...)

Also if you delete your transition and replace it rather than "switch" it, it does not effect the timeline timing.. It does when you go from crossover to overlap using switch.

Hello Bubba,

As for second thing yes, you are right. I meant about switching between these two options not removing and adding new one again.
As for first: I can see this problem on my "final" devices (50" plasma TV and PS3 or Dune HD player) not only on preview screen

WOW.... I have never had the transition stutter carry over to my rendered file or burned DVD. With one exception since version 9 using perspective title. If I have a list of names for example, and one name is longer than the one before it and after it by around 7 or more letters (some one with 4 or more name segments) it will stall for a millisecond during the scroll when the name following the longer name appears, and it will only do it one time even if there are more examples of the same in the title. It will only do it on the first instance of the name and not the rest. __________________________________________
