Issues that I have noted so far

Issues noted:
1. Using the “Show Under/Over Exposed Areas” button in the histogram show the underexposed areas as blue and overexposed as red. However, when moving the cursor over these areas the program shows the RGB values for the blue or red warnings and not the actual underlying picture.
2. Using the Shadows slider seems to raise the entire histogram rather than just the near black shadow tones; it is possible to overexpose the picture using the Shadows slider.

Hi DDL_CGY,
1. I reported to the product team and will update when feedback is available. I can see your behavior.
2. Yes, the Shadows slider applys globally. One thing I use to apply local region is to use Adjustment Brush to "paint" on the over/under exposure area and use Exposure to retouch locally. Just my preference.

Regards,
Brandon

I agree with DDL_CGY .

The Shadows slider should only affect the darker parts of the image (within reason). This is not occurring right now.

The "region adjustment" tool is a workaround, but should not be necessary in this case.

Thanks

3. When I use the localized adjustment brushed (say exposure reduction) the areas painted over often get very pixelated artifacts.
4. When I use the highlight reduction slider it often leaves pixelated areas or very pastel like areas (blocky colors). DDL
