Hi,

What exactly does it do if I log into DirectorZone from within PhotoDirector?

Hi G -

All it does is exactly that... logs you into DirectorZone. It's just a different route.

You need to be logged in ONLY if you want to download others' effects or upload your own.

Ok, thanks. Can the presets actually be browsed and downloaded directly from the program? When I click the link in the preset browser, it just opens a web browser.

PhotoDirector accesses DirectorZone through your browser.

When you click "Download more from DirectorZone", it just links you to the Presets page.

Right. Cool. I got it. So all it really does (if you tell it to in preferences) is log you into DirectorZone at program launch so that those credentials can be automatically passed via your browser when you click the link.
