If PhotoDirector could sustain life-support and communication systems for a crew and direct a space-craft in orbit, and bring the craft back to Earth safely, yeah, 5-large might be fair, but what about just editing a photo?

Well, what about 100 bucks and some bugs here and there?

BTW, almost all photo-workflow applications are overpriced these days.

If you want to part ways with $100 and get buggy software, I think we can arrange something! HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)

I received a link to download my free copy today. So, thanks for that. I'm an Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom user, but it's always good to have another tool in one's arsenal.

Should one uninstall the beta before installing the new official version?

Later: Well I uninstalled the beta and installed the official version. All's well.

Quote: Sadly, it appears that not everyone that was a beta tester gets the free version. I replied to the survey, send in a number of bug reports...and even a fix. Now...nothing. I get an email offering me 25% off. Emails bounce back as much as kangaroos on Red Bull. Kind of a joke.

I got the 25% offer earlier in the week. Turns out that was in response to an initial effort to register with another email address and I never received the link for the beta through it. I received the promised free copy today going to the email address I actually completed the survey through.
