Hi Clanc -

Yes! http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/13406.page#62937

Some members were discussing this recently http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/17378.page

and here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/16902.page

Cheers - Tony

P.S. At the top of the page there's a Search button... "custom mask" would have helped you locate useful information

Heres one i created. Im going to create "plasma" in GIMP then turn it into a spinning PIP object with that mask to make a cartoony portal.

Hey Clanc -

That's a lot better than my first attempts!

Your masks didn't show up in PD's mask library (for me) because of the naming protocols & the way the areas were coloured.

When those "rules" are followed, the mask is available in PD. Here is your mask (modified) in situ...

I've attached the modified versions.

Keep at it - you're on the track!

Cheers - Tony

Thanks, by the way do you know if there is an easy way to move the fire particle effect in a video. When i do it key frame by frame it akes forever, or "jumps". Besides producing it and chroma keying out the backround.

It's probably best to post that as a new question.

Some members here do wonderful things with particles & they'd be only too glad to help, I'm sure. Here's Cranston's fiery little masterpiece... http://www.youtube.com/user/cputb1
