whats the deal with this? I know i couldn't play them correctly in power dvd 10 ultra either??

I can only confirm that apparently there are problems with MKV handling in PowerDVD. Skipping or some occasional abnormality in picture quality can be observed (i.e. after forwarding or resuming). If there are multiple audio/subtitle tracks, PDVD doesn't display correct information about languages though the streams are correctly marked (flagged). Instead, all we see is Languge X or Invariant marking.


BTW: If there's the "Show information" option available, why don't we have some detailed and conlusive data displayed?

can you post a sample MKV here?
Is the MKV h.264 or MPEG-2 (we have known issue for MPEG-2 MKV that will be fixed in next patch)

These files are h.264 with audio streams in both AC3 and DTS. I didn't try MKV with MPEG-2.
