What shoud i do, this is a normal avi i download on the internet.

I try to play it in powerdvd or media player, it is ok.

Can anyone help me. Thx

Are you sure you saved it to a file on your hard drive? Otherwise, when you unhook your camera, it will be gone.

Does that downloaded file play in Windows Media Player?

It it does not, can you download that file again?

It it does play in Windows Media Player, you may need a format converter. Convert to some other format that works in PD. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

My Windows Media Player would not play .AVI files without loading the CODECS.

I downloaded and installed the Windows Essentials Codec Pack free from the following link.

I have not had any more problems with .AVI files!
