Hi folks,

Im new on here. Just wondering why power director has a rather limited smartsound library? and if there is way to get other sounds rather than to add my own music?

SS is limited because its a big business for the smartsound company.

Smartsound seems proprietary as you can't do much with it unless you have a program with SS technology built into it. It is therefore specially made music that can be specially manipulated.

You pretty much get good sample and have to buy more SS quicktracks. Sometimes you can get some good package deals on SS tracks but you have to shop around and wait for specials to come.

I like the ability to re-size the tracks without having to cut them.

With sonicfire, you can overlay a video segment and work on the sounds to match that video segment and export to WAV.
