Newbie to PD having a hard time trying to make titles

I tried to create titles with many of the templates but found trouble trying to set the type at different sizes other than what the template has originally. I also could not find a way to create titles from scratch (blank page) etc. I could not work with that aspect as easily as most everything else. Am I missing something?

I currently have PD6 and having trouble editing the default text that is found in the menu designer section. I cant change it or delete it! The text "My Video" is not going anywhere!javascript:emoticon('

Another Newbie here trying to create a disc. I keep getting the following messages.

Can anyone tell me what I can do to enable this function please?
