Can I Add a Music Track

I need another music track to pop in some hits and stingers from smartsound.

For some reason, I can not place SS music on a voice or sound track and only a music track.

I don't seem to be able to add another music track. The option for add music track does not come up when I click the add track Icon or function.

Hi Dave,

you can add audio tracks. (not "music")

I have no trouble placing SS music, be it wav directly
exported, or converted to mp3. What are your files?

I thought I read someplace you can add music tracks but I must have read wrong.

Im trying to insert a stock SS sound file over music already there,. A little harp hit for when a tadpole takes off.

I guess I'll have to convert it to wav as they can be put on the soundtrack but this going back and forth between programs is getting very tedius.

I already have to do my voice overs in another program because PD9 is noisy.

This is one time consuming program.

Dave,

I did a small try-out for what I think you want.
It worked fine here, with harp and all.
You will have to adjust the volum levels.

Well now I get the message that SmartSound is no longer supported in my project and crashes when I load the project and even past revisions of the project. I'm going to have to reinstall.

I hope it works or I would have lost 8 hrs of work.
