I'm new to this so I apologize for the stupid question. I'm attempting to make an intro that I will use on all my videos. I have placed the images and audio that I want to use, but when I try and see what I have done, only the audio plays and the background is just black in the preview window. Are you in clip mode or movie mode?

You have to be in movie mode for all of the tracks to play. Jerry Schwartz

Boy I tell ya.... yes, I'm in movie mode. When I click on each individual part, then they show up and play just fine. Then I save my project, close down and re-open, half of the photos in my intro are blank until I click on each photo again. I finished the project and produced as an AVI. It played fine the first time in QuickTime, then the next time I played it, it turned all green and only the audio was playing. I did a little screencast tutorial and it plays just fine in Quicktime, but in PD, it does not show up. I want to make an intro that I can use on all my tutorial videos. I saved my original so I don't have to start over. But like I said, when I open it, only half the photos show until I click on each one again. I don't want to be posting blank YouTube videos. Okay, I managed to get a video finished, but... as you can see the quality is less than desirable. I'm used to working with Camtaisa, so this is a little different. The video does not fit in the screen and it's blurry. What do i need to do to clear all this up? I'm set at 4.3, should I be at 16.9? I'll leave this up for now, but I'll have to replace it...

I've now lost my original intro that I spent all day making. All the images have disappeared and are now black.... I only have a MP4 copy, which the tool does not allow me to import into my library.It crashes every time that I try. Looks great at 16.9 as a MP 4, but can i use this as my intro in other videos? If so, how?

Well I figurad out why they are black when I play in movie mode... Dual preview is set to "off" by default for some reason....
