Unwanted framtic sounding music plays when selecting the "Scenes" button on all DVD menu templates even when I have selected No Music. Very annoying. Hoiw can I stop this from happening? I hear this when I burn or preview the DVD.

Doesn't clicking the second button to the right of the music file path clear it out?

Clicking the button to the right of the music file path does NOT take care of this problem which only occurs at the "Play" and "Scenes" frame, and not during the actual movie. Clicking that button removes any music during actual play.

Maybe we aren't talking about the same thing. I was talking about removing the music from the menu pages. That attached clip shows what I meant.

Jerrys, thanks for taking the time to send me the clip. We actually are on the same page. You did two steps in the clip. First you eliminated the music at the "Background Music" block, and then selected Play and the Enter arrow.

At that page, when I select Play the word Play is surrounded by an edit block which allows me to edit or eliminate the word Play, but it doesn't start to play the movie.

And, the arrow that you selected last in your clip is dimmed on my page. Only when I press the preview button does the movie advance to functional Play and Scenes buttons.

The unwanted music appears when I select "Scenes" and stops when the selected Scene starts to play. I saw the same thing on a YouTube video on making DVDs in PowerDirector 9.

I must be doing something fundamentally wrong. Not sure where/how to get the proper training. I've come a long way and have made some good movies, but the Disk making function has me somewhat baffled.

Anyway, thanks again. If you have any more thoughts on this they will be very much appreciated.

Jim A.
