There is a sticky at the top of this page with various cameras that PD users have. Prices are not generally listed, but many have sample video. __________________________________

Thanks Jaime, I saw that a while back, I hoped we see some more added, seems there was a Panasonic mentioned, but I forgot the model number not the one show in was a 500 dollar camera with a 60 in the name

My Canon was 499, but that was just before the new models were released, so they may be more now. I plan to add mine to the list, but I am waiting for better weather to get some sample video. __________________________________

I am a huge Canon guy starting with the AE1 still cameras, I have a Canon film video camera looking for a decent hid

Hi,
I just urchased the Canaon Vixia R100 HD Camera for $329.98 at Bestbuy Canada, haven't used if a lot yet but the short clips I have done are quite good. It is similar to Canon Vixia R10 but with better censor I believe.
