I have a always had a narrow horizonal band of picture tearing near the middle of screen when operating with nVidia HW acceleration turned on. It seems to show up on scenes with a lot of motion. Not present on stationary or slow moving screen.

With HW acceleration turned off there is no tearing playing the same scene sequence. CPU utilization goes from about 15-20% with HW acceleration off to <3% utilization with HW acceleration turned on.

Playing .m2ts HD video.

My equipment is Geforce 9400gt in an Intel Q6600 quad core, 4 GB of memory, running Win7 32 bit.

Running latest version of PowerDVD 10 Ultra but issue exist on all previous versions.

Hi,
it sounds like an driver issue/platform issue.
I can not reproduct such behavior on my test platforms with various NVIDIA Adapators here.

You may check your drivers and environmant settings.
