PDVD ultra 3104 fix and issues on HD movies

The new 3104 patch is a good step ahead... and a little step back! The image is 99,9% stutter free using my old 7800 GTX card. Tomorrow I'll try on my 8650 GTS. The image has good colors but the banding effect is still present.
I have a dual monitor system and I can't see anything on monitor 2. Only on the Monitor 1.
I cannot set to off the hardware acceleration. I can check on and off the button on the config window if the playback is stopped, but if I play the movie the button is always set to on.

Anyone can confirm this? Any ideas to workaround at least the monitor 2 problem?

I just try with my nvidia 8650. The stutters are not relevant, exactly as the 7800. This is a good improvment. The 2911 build was good on 8650 but not on the 7800.
The problem with monitor 2 still remain. I try an HDMI and DVI connection, with and without HDCP (using anydvd) but nothing works. It's like the old overlay problem on screen 2.

Try just now with a 8800 gts. Exactly the same.

I also have the problem that I can see the powerdvd window on my second monotor. But when playing an hd-dvd I see only a black screen. I am using a hdmi connection to an Sony Bravde 40w2000.

CL staff read the forum? Using PDVD with those bugs is a real pain.
Every time there is a naw patch I have a new fear... What's working now? And what's the new showstopper problem?

Due to HDCP. PowerDVD must follow this rule.
When you try to use dual monitor to watch BD and HD-DVD title, it will not support it.

U can try to view below link.

Daisuke, I don't want to see the video on two monitor. I want to see the video ONLY on the monitor 2.
PDVD 3104a actually works only on monitor 1 and ignore completly the monitor 2.

My system is:
nvidia 8800 duel head HDCP;
monitor1: simple VGA monitor no-HDCP;
monitor2: Projector Mitsubishi HC5000 HDCP.

Then, using this configuration actually there is no way at all for me to see the video in the projector. If I want to see I MUST switch the projector as monitor 1 using the nvidia Control Panel. But this is a real problem for me. Usally, during normal work, the prj is off and windows set automatically the VGA monitor as 1.

Every time I want to see a movie I must power on the prj, restart windows, set the prj as monitor 1, set the 24p timing, reorder all the icons on the desktop. After the movie I must switch the vga monitor as 1, reorder the icons, power off the prj, restart the system. An hard work every time.
I want simply to power on the prj, open PDVD, move the pdvd window on the prj screen and play. PDVD 2911 was able to do this, why the new version not?

Another example: I modify the system:

nvidia 8800;
monitor1: Sony Bravia HDCP;
monitor2: Projector Mitsubishi HC5000 HDCP;

Exactly the same. PDVD works on the sony and ignore completly the prj. And I want to see the movie ONLY on the prj.

Major Bug with PowerDVD Ultra 7.3 3104 (dunno if this bug was in earlier versions, new computer).

Every 20 or so seconds there is a blink while watching HD-DVD movies (Its almost like a frame is missing, very anyoing.).

With both Official ATI Catalyst 7.6 and 7.7 (released today).

OS Vista x64
CPU Intel Core 2
Chipset Intel P35
Graphics Adapter ATI 2600XT (Supposed to give best acceleration ever)
Memory 4GB

Had this problem to. Solution for me was to check hardware de-interlacing on advanced video properties.

And what did you select under hardware deinterlacing? weave? bob? or some of the other strange options?

No matter what i seem to do I still get that blinking. AMP: Hegel H100, DAC: Hegel HD2, Speakers: Tannoy Revolution Signature DC6T, TV: Samsung PS63C7705 (pn63c8000) 63", HTPC: NVIDIA GTX 680, Windows 7 SP1 x64 with blu-ray

Well im trying with 3104.

Ive noticed more. Ive timed the blinking its exactly every 15 seconds.
Each time it blinks powerdvd.exe cpu usage increases with 5% in task manager, then goes down 5% again.

And when it blinks even the desktop blinks. You can put powerdvd playing a hd-dvd down on your start bar still playing. Right now this windows im typing in blinks every 15 seconds.

This only happens while playing hd-dvd. Not when playing dvd.....

With 3104a i can't watch Bluray discs anymore, it always stops for a second.
Back to 2911 everything is ok.

Been doing some more testing. Something is clearly wrong with hdcp and the 2600x and/or powerdvdt it seems, even though powerdvd checks out green on hdcp for both screen and card. Might be the driver, or only the vista x64 driver. Dont know.

Lets put it like this:

ps3 -> yamaha 1700 receiver -> m4200c screen fine.

2600xt -> yamaha 1700 receiver -> m4200c causes the entire screen to blink every 15 seconds when wathing hd-dvd with hdcp in powerdvd ultra.

Making a backup to disk stripping hdcp, then the movie plays fine without the 15 second blink.

Before this computer had a x1900gt and had no problems with hd-dvd hdcp content. Only other diffrence is that when i had x1900gt it was vista x86. now its vista x64. Further update:

Problem is located with hdmi connections/chain. Dont know if this is a card/driver thing or a powerdvd problem.

No blinking problem:
2600xt -> dvi-d -> monitor .Playing hd-dvds with hdcp just fine.

Blinking problem arrives when:
2600xt with ati dvi/hdmi adapter -> HDMI CABLE -> yamaha rx-v1700 receiver -> HDMI to DVI-D Cable -> Monitor. Entire screen blinks every 15 seconds, while watching hd-dvd with hdcp. Backup hd-dvds from disk without hdcp plays fine.

While a PS3 has no problem doing:
PS3-> HDMI CABLE -> Yamaha RX-V1700 -> HDMI to DVI-D Cable - Monitor. Playing blu-ray with hdcp perfectly. AMP: Hegel H100, DAC: Hegel HD2, Speakers: Tannoy Revolution Signature DC6T, TV: Samsung PS63C7705 (pn63c8000) 63", HTPC: NVIDIA GTX 680, Windows 7 SP1 x64 with blu-ray
