Maybe I'm missing something but I want to Fade to black the end of a clip. I know you can transition fade between clips but I just want to fade the end of a clip. I Don't see the option.

Hi Christian

I am no expert but the way I would do it is.

1) Add the fade transition to the end of the clip
2) Add a black color board after that.

This should work.

Good luck

I'm here for a good time, not a long time.

You got me thinking when you said black board, so here's what I ended up doing. I created a solid black box with MS paint, then added a Title to the end of the clip, removed all the text and inserted the black box .bmp stretching it to cover over all the video. The problem with using Transition is that the clip I wanted to fade to black was the end of a chapter, I could not prevent it from running into the next new chapter. Thanks for the help Brian - you revved up my nogin.

Why so complicated?
Use the color-sheeds inside PD6
You finde this pictures in the bibliothek.
Change from "all medien" (I hope it is the same in english) to "color cards" or so. You finde many color pictures for text-bachgrounds and other ideas Viele Gruesse Georg

Georg, no need to apologize. I guessed what you meant, an image tells the story better

I find using that using a Title with a black screen is better that using a Black board Transition. You can better control the Fade out or in compared to the Transition.
