PowerDVD8 Version 8.0.3228f.50 came bundled with LG Blue-Ray disc burner.

When launching program, we get an error message - "CLHELPER.exe - application error" stating - "The instruction at 0x0048897d" referenced memory at "0x00000003e". The memory could not be "read".

After clicking through the error message, the program opens. When attempting to play a blue-ray disc the error message appears, stating - "There is a disc with an unsupported format in drive D:"

Any advice?

Hello,

I am having this exact issue occur on my machine with an installation of PowerDVD 8.

More specifically, my version of the CLHelper.exe messages states that "CLHelper.exe has encountered a problem and needs to close...."

Was this issue resolved? If so, could the fix be posted?

Thank you very much!

Best Regards,
Nathan G.
