I wish I could help you, but I have yet to find a solution. Michael has said that the support team is working on it. I guess I just have to wait and see. While it is unfortunate that you have the same problem as I do, I must say that I am glad I am not the only one with this problem. Maybe now it will be worked on a little faster. I would like you to post your experience with ArcSofts TotalMedia Theatre if you do infact download it and try the Blu Ray 3D support. That way I know that it is also PDVD that is not working properly in your case as well.

I am sure you must have tried all the solutions Michael posted in my topic and none worked for you, correct?

Michael,

I wanted to update you on my situation. Aileen has found the problem.
PDVD was playing 3D Blu Ray movies at 1920x1080 resolution. The Acer H5360 only displays content in 3D at 1280x720.

Aileen uploaded me two files and fixed the problem.
File names: clcvd.ax ; clcvd_HBD.ax

These files are the video decoders.

I will update again later, when all support actions are finished.

I follow assiduously your contribution because my PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mark II (build 2429) and BD & 3D Advisor (v3631)give me, also, some unjustified HDCP warning. Fortunately, after installing AnyDVD, I could get round to this ! Nevertheless, after configuring True Theater and NVidia 3D Vision, I don't obtain any stereo vision with 2D DVD or Blu-Ray disks. However the 3D icon is drawn in relief. So, I have a question: when configuring the 3D, in the "general menu", do you find a button "Enable Cyberlink 3D Configuration" ? This annouced in the tutorial, but, in my case, it does not exist.

I do not have a button labeled "Enable Cyberlink 3D Configuration".

After many,many weeks of waiting for an official "Fix" for PowerDVD 10 Ultra Mk II, I have still not recieved an email, nor have I had further contact from Aileen, or Juin on my particular problem.

As stated before, the issue was found to be "clcvd.ax" & "clcvd_HBD.ax" (which are the codecs PDVD uses).
The problem is that these files play my 3D Blu Ray movies at the maximum resolution available.
Now, my Acer H5360 projector WILL play 2D content at a resolution of 1920x1080.
The Acer H5360 WILL play 3D content at a resolution of 1280x720.

So, the problem was addressed, and then tested new "clcvd.ax" & "clcvd_HBD.ax" files that were made to run strictly off of the CPU and play video at 1280x720. So during testing I told Aileen, the video was verry choppy but it WAS in 3D (running all decoding from CPU) and playing video at 1280x720.

What I need is the same modified parameters of "clcvd.ax" & "clcvd_HBD.ax" to display video at 1280x720, but they need to use the GPU for decoding.

As of now, I still have no 3D after Aileen restored all files back to original.

I don't use any projector; so I think that I can't share any experience with you upon this point. I would say that the last update proposed by Cyberlink seems to be the 10.0.2701.51 which is given by the file ultrafree_DVD110221 (123 Mo).
Concerning the tutorial about 2D->3D conversion: on the second windows which arrives when you start PDVD 10 (it shows the recent new DVD's of the week), at the right part and under the annoucement of MoovieLive, you will find ten PDVD 10 tutorials.
Finally, concerning my question about 2D->3D conversion: I changed my video card 8800 GTS for a GTX 560 TI. Now Cyberlink BD & 3D Advisor no more gives any warning and I can view Blu-Ray without using the program AnyDVD ! But I notice that the conversion 2D->3D is effective with DVD's (for example a Harry Potter). In this case the 3D icon situated in the lower right part of PDVD window is presented lighted and in relief. But I can't obtain any conversion with 2D Blu ray: in this case the icon remains extinguished.

TT-3D is only supported for files and DVD - but not for Blu-Ray Discs.

Hi, I have the same problem, only text is showing in 3D (menu and subtitles), I have a 1080p monitor (acer 245hqbid) I tried a lot of things, rolling back drivers updating 3D drivers and emitter driver, it seems it is software related, if I use an older update of powerdvd (1830 if I remember well) it's working but there is some glitches like the screen "jumping" every 5 seconds so it's not very enjoyable. Other settings like checkerboard is working well so it's not related to the disc, but I can't watch it this way. I tried to watch "a christmas carol" french version.

I hope a solution will be available,

- 3D Vision only works with 3D vision emitter and 3D-Vision glassses
- 3DLP is not supported in PowerDVD 10

I already told which monitor I use it's acer 245hqbid
I have the full set 3D is working in every compatible applications I use
I have powerdvd10 mark II last update
I tried to reinstall it already
The bluray is working very well on total media 5 demo
The blu ray is near to work on an older update version (1830) but the screen is "jumping" every 5 seconds
I have the last version of drivers for my CG's and 3D setup I tried to disable SLI and to use default settings on nvidia control panel.
I have a core2quad 9550, 8Gb RAM and 2 gtx's 480
I did not try to use hdmi ... the text in the movie (subtitle and menu) are displaying well in 3D my glasses and emitter also turn on (obviously I would not be able to see them in 3D if it was not ...)
I already know I am now on beta drivers for my CG's it was the same with the previous whql set in case you want me to rollback again I'm a bit tired of trying things that do not work

Now here is my take on your situation, please understand I do not use the 3D option yet and i am just a user.
I see you have 2 gtx 480's which i am going to guess you are running in SLI. I see where you admit you tried to disable SLI and still had issues. I am glad to see you have tried this since SLI seems to be a big no no for powerdvd according to other posts found on these forums.

To clarify this a 3d blu ray that is having issues? I agree on my 3d blu ray using anaglyph mode that it would have abnormal jumps until i switched to 2701 powerdvd 10 ultra. Sadly i do not have the 3dtv yet for full hd 3d blu ray playback. Tangled 3d blu ray region a

One thing i have noticed is Nvidia updated their 3dtv play information to point to a their current beta driver...

Now for the odd part they no longer mention 3d vision monitors!

From what i can find about your monitor it only supports 3d vision and has no support for HDMI 1.4 3d playback. i am guessing that you have ran the 3d wizard again after switching drivers?
this information is more for 3dtv, but try to step through it but with your 3d vision substituted for the tv portion.

Yes it is a 3d bluray I can watch it with the total media theater 5 demo and it displays right so I guess I am 3D ready
I use my 3D setup for more than one year but it is my first 3D bluray, I used 2D->3D converter successfully for DVD's playback (but I didn't tried it on the last version I don't watch a lot of DVD's anymore)
I disabled and unplugged my second monitor
Tried multiples reboots between each actions
I ran the 3d wizard each time I use new drivers because I always do a clean install

I use classic version I don't have a remote control for my display
Btw the text is displaying well and in 3d in the menus and the subtitles and the others modes (others than 3D vision seems to display well but I don't have the glasses and screen to be able to watch it this way)

I found out in bd advisor that my display is not HDCP ... but it clearly is (it's specified in nvidia control panel and I watch a lot of blurays ...) maybe a hint for the problem resolution ?

If it thinks you are not HDCP compliant there is chance that PowerDVD itself is picking up on this failure also.

Have you tried to use Slysoft AnyDVD HD yet to bypass the protection temporarly?

I think that if I were not HDCP compliant I would not be able to watch any blurays ... And I have quite a collection, and why it would display well on a concurrent demo software ?

Add me to the list. I have the same issue. 2 GTX470s Sli'ed, latest Nvidia dirvers, GD235Hz, latest version of PowerDVD 10 Ultra mark 2. All other 3d applications work great, no problems. I've asked Nvidia tech support, and they point to PowerDVD. Will upload diagnostics file when able.
