On the download site of CL: http://www.cyberlink.com/downloads/support/powerdirector/patches_en_US.html
(seems to fix the message "Power Director has stopped working" for those affected)

Michael.

Should we all update to the 2330a version...even those of us with Non-NVIDIA cards?? I wouldn't want the next PD9 Update patch to refuse to update my current version because it's not 2330a. Any advice?

With all previous PD versions, the patches are always cumulative. Therefore, it does not matter what starting product version of PD9 you have, the patch will patch to the latest stated version. However, there has been on several occasions with previous PD releases, instances where users preferred an intermediate patch for a period of time because of issues in the most recent patch provided by CL. I would download and save the update, that way you have it for whatever reason.

Thanks for the recommendation, JLJL. I will do just as you suggest.

I wonder how many people never even KNEW that pausing over the "i" was necessary before installing a patch!

Now I am confused!!! I have an Nvidia Card (not one mentioned in the post and NOT a laptop). I applied the 2330a version and noticed many files changed. Should I uninstall PD9, install version 2316 and patch it with JUST the 2330 update?

ALL updates with PD are as mentioned earlier CUMULATIVE. One only needs to install the most recent update to the original package in order to be up to date. Previous updates are included in the newest update. Win 10, i7

hi, all.
patch 2330a does not fix any of the chipmunk or mickey mouse audio when you're editing .mpg or .mpeg files.

i miss the sign when you're entering pa state line from the major highway.
pa max speed limit is STILL 55mph!

happy new year, everyone.
