Can someone tell me how to find out what type of PD I'm using...the usual way is to go to help then look at about...but I can find these options.

I've asked this once but had two conflicting answers...Can I use PD 9 Ultra 64 bit on a 32 bit (W7) OS? I want to buy now but am likely to update to 64 bit early next year and don't want to have to upgrade later if possible.

Is there a way to get menu items (file, edit etc.) to open as you float the cursor over them rather than having to click on each in turn..?

I've created project from some old family films (30 years or more) but they need to have some bits blurred out..is there a way of doing this without having to do it frame by frame....

As you can probably tell I'm fairly new to PD 9..but so far I'm liking it more and more. :

Hi there and welcome to the forum. We are here to help in any way we can.

Can someone tell me how to find out what type of PD I'm using...the usual way is to go to help then look at about...but I can find these options.

To get what version you are using:

Open Power director....click on the words POWER DIRECTOR in the upper right hand side. It will then display your version and build information(see screenshot).
Can I use PD 9 Ultra 64 bit on a 32 bit (W7) OS?

EDIT: You can use PD9 on a 32-bit Operating system and then upgrade your OS system at a later time.
Is there a way to get menu items (file, edit etc.) to open as you float the cursor over them rather than having to click on each in turn..?

I am not aware of how you can do this...you must click on it to then have it to function.

Thanks Dafydd...I didn't know that. It must have both types of installations within it?

Sorry if I gave the incorrect information. I thought there were TWO different versions available 32-bit and 64-bit....

I'll add that to the shelf of "thing I need to know".

Cranston's running it on XP = 32 bit.

I jumped in just to make things clear and not let anyone think it cant run on 32bit.
