So I try to update from 8 to 9 and get this

Error Number: SIT_000002

On top of that, somebody needs to tell them that the Aussie dollar is nearly at parity with the $US.

Regarding the exchange rate used for Australian currency, the same applies to the Canadian dollar. The exchange rate yesterday was 1.0179 $Can to the US$. The upgrade from PD8 Ultra to PD9 Ultra cost me almost $10 more than it should have based on the cost in US$. It would have been simpler if PD/Digital River allowed me to pay in US$ and let Visa take care of the exchange rate. It is not clear whether Cyberlink or Digital River is responsible for the overcharging.

Actually I don't know if this will work for you but at the shop I can select the currency, so I just selected $USD and then as you say the CC company adjusted at todays rate.

Be carefull leaving as $USD as when I purchased it converted $72 to £72 despite the exchange rate being closer to £45. Tried email variety of people to get refund but to no effect.

I don't understand! if you set as $USD and the order goes through as that then your financial institution (credit card) will do the converstion not digitalriver. The hopefully it will be at current rates.

Thank you David for your suggestion. My visit to the shop presented the amount due in Canadian dollars and, at the time, I had no reason to believe that there would be a problem, so I left the amount as presented.
Thanks to you, next time I buy something at Cyberlink, I will be more careful.
