UNABLE TO KEEP MAGIC MOTION PROPERTIES AFTER SAVING AND CLOSING A FILE

When I am working in a project file I
save it periodically, but I have found
that when opening a project after
saving and closing it, the images does
not maintain the same Magic Motion
properties that I applied before saving
and closing it.

I happens mostly in larger files in
regards to the motion effect and the
automatic focus.

In smaller files the motion effect is
maintained but the automatic focus
always turns on eventhough it was set
to manual before saving and closing the
file.

The Ram memory of my notebook is
adequate (1g) and the free disk space
is more than 270g.

I unistalled and installed PD software
several times but the problem is still
the same.

Does anyone have a clue on how this problem can be solved?

I am unable to save ANYTHING. Do I have to purchase in order to make this work? I am very disappointed with cyberlink so far and am not going to give you my money if that is the case. I will start over (as if I don't do that everytime I open this program ) with a different company. The link that says "save as" and "save" are grey and unable to be used. Please advise soon.

Enrique,

What build/version of PowerDirector are you using?
Open PD > Help > About
Please post this information.

Thanks

Alesha,

What version of PowerDirector are you using - see the instructions for Enrique?

Saving a project is simple - not sure what you're having difficulty over.
Video in the time-line (don't even have to do that to save!)
Go to File > Save project as

More data would be most useful.

Power director 5.00 2227 Sep
Product number

this is the 2nd disk I am trying to use that came with my JVC gz-mg 155u

I understand that saving is a simple task but the options in the pull down are not choosable, they are grey, not black and clickable. I appreciate your continues help with this.

I have attachments that im not using this time to see if it will take without.

Hi Alesha,

Please post under a new subject heading.

Enrique has raised/posted his problem and it is unfair to continue with a tangential issue on his posting.

You'll get answered - just post everything again in you're own new subject.
Please post in the PowerDirector JVC forum.

Thank you

Dafydd
