Why is it so bright...?

I just started up PowerDirector today and the preview panel just got really bright. A lot brighter than it should be. What's going on?

Never heard of this. Does the preview work, it's just that the preview is now very bright? What about video on the internet, or Windows Media Player?
Perhaps you tweaked WMP recently? We need more details. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
