On a "produced" avi a title (Produce1) appears at the bottom of the frame. How can avoid this from happening?

This is just a guess, but are you using the Trial Version? Here are the limitations of the trial version. I think you are seeing item #1.

Limitations
1.Watermark at the beginning of produced videos (5 sec)
2.30-day working trial
3.An encoding limit of 50 for iPod/PSP files (follows AAC's trial guidelines)
4.SmartSound Library trial version
5.Limited DVD menu templates: 2 menu templates
6.Limited title templates: 8 title templates
7.Limited Magic Movie styles: 2 styles
8.Limited slideshow styles: 3 styles
9.Advanced photo editing feature disabled

Regards,

Kevin

Thank you for your response. I am using a purchased version. What I am seeing is not a watermark but an automatically generated title (produce1). When I produced the vid I did not see anywhere to give it a name so I guess this name (Produce1) was given as a default name. How can I avoid this from happening and appearing on the finished vid?

Thanks again for your reply.

Hi bizbopper,

Once in the Produce module, look right under the Preview screen's transport controls.
You will see a box that says… Output Folder.
Click on the button (with the 3 dots ), that’s next to it, and input your desired title name.

Thank you. I found where I can input my title. However the title still shows up in white letters at the bottom of the produced video. EX: MY TITLE.AVI. Is there some way to NOT have the title appear on the finished vid?

Thanks again for all advice.

I suspect you may need to check which player you are using. Some players default to displaying the video file name.

As far as I am aware PD does not overlay your filename (as opposed to a Title) into the video.

Cheers

Bingo! That was the answer. I had to turn off the function in the player that displayed the file name.

Issue resolved.

Thanks to all for taking the time to help out a newbie.
