How?? I've right clicked on everything in sight, checked all menus, still can't find a way to eliminate this nuisance. I'm gettin' old...... Jerry

I had the same problem. Fixed it by right clicking in the centre of the window which brought up a long menu. About three quarters of the way down "Show Information" had a tick next to it which I clicked to unselect it - info box gone. Hope this helps.

For PowerDVD 17, click on "D". This will turn the display window on and off.
