If you have the Codec installed on your computer, it shows in Produce as Divx in the AVI Profile Type dropdown. Then you have three choices for quality. It only works on Standard definition video. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

Search Google for K-Lite Mega Pack.

This is the main link to the K-Lite Downloads.

If you are using Windows 7 64 bit be sure to get the 64 bit version. Carl312: Windows 10 64-bit 8 GB RAM,AMD Phenom II X4 965 3.4 GHz,ATI Radeon HD 5770 1GB,240GB SSD,two 1TB HDs.

No thanks. Do not want to clog the system. I'd rather download this codec from here.

Does not work. PowerDirector 8 encodes only DivX? Xvid does not understand?

Hi play (and all),

Unfortunately PD8 does not support Xvid. See supported formats/codecs here...
http://www.cyberlink.com/products/powerdirector/languages-formats_en_US.html

PD8 does however support Divx. But only if you have either the free or Pro version installed on your computer.
