I installed the trial version of Power Director 8 and it seems somewhat simple so i bought PD 8.
As I try to install it, it says that i have to uininstall the version that's on there.
I look in programs and its not there. how do i uninstall the trial version?
i need to put togehter a quick video, about one hour and have everything ready EXCEPT for this problem.

The new installation will remove the previous build.

When I bought the program after already having tried out the trial version, I was given an activation key, which can be simply used to activate the trial version.

Trial activation also requires you to download an additional package and apply it.

I would suggest you look at your email and check/do that.

i looked through ALL the e-mails i received from cyber link.....key no where to be found, nor something about downloading an additional package.
anyway, i loaded the software into another pc (older) which now i'll have add a couple of things that the other pc had.
i appreciate everyone's help, thank you.
