Give all PD2024 users the option to reload version 21. YES or NO

It seems there are a lot of unhappy people who have upgraded to 2024 and regretted it

In my opinion CyberLink should release an emergency version of 2024 with an option to reload version 21 or stay with the 2024 version, that would satisfy everybody.

Does that seem a good idea?

Yes. I have yet to see any benefit for me with the new "upgrade."

After the recent hotfix and using the new version for some days it is ok for me.

Did the hotfix restore the ability to click a clip, and the playhead move... did it restore the opacity lines in the timeline, the audio controls in the audio mixer, or the apply all option for clips? Nope... they did not... going to cancel my subscription...

This is a must. 2024 is nearly useless at this point.

2024 no good. What surprised me is that they didn't even release a beta version first before launching it (as far as I am concerned).

Yes, bring back 2021! 2024 has been a headache and now I am backed up with work because I have to learn/figure out everything again. On top of that, many features have been changed or eliminated. I will not continue with Cyberlink if we're not provided with that option.

Is there no way to go back to the previous version?

I created a support ticket on the 21st and sent it to Cyberlink, explaining the reasons I didn't like it and that I wanted to revert to version 21.

Today I received a reply and a link to download 21, my previous version.

Now PowerDirector on my main PC looks how it used to be - friendly and usable.

Yes, I think I'd like to go back if possible. I was enjoying PD21.

I'd like PD18 back. Best in my opinion.
All the plugins worked, actual plugins not stickers, UI was great and fast to get to what you needed to do. HP Envy Phoenix/4thGen i7-4770(4@3.4GHz~turbo>3.9)
Nvidia GTX 960(4GB)/16GB DDR3/
Canon Vixia HV30/HF-M40/HF-M41/HF-G20/Olympus E-PL5.
Tape capture using 6 VCR, TBC-1000, Elite BVP4+, Sony D8 camcorder with TBC.

I re-installed my copy of PD 16 alongside 2024 for now. PD 16 is showing its age, but at least I can rotate and crop videos without any issues!

Has anyone heard of this issue with the opacity video timeline option being fixed yet?? Or switching back to the last version. This is causing havoc!

I wrote it is ok for me, no reason at all to go back to the previous version.

I work with short clips pieced together. And I am so sick of playing hide-and-seek with this playhead and having to spend half my time opening and closing the Russian nesting dolls of a menu system every time I have to move to a different clip.

Holy crap this is a workflow disaster.

Alas, I have been told it is not possible to downgrade to the previous version, which worked reasonably well for me.
