Speeding up footage

Short clip shot in 60fps and produced at 30fps.
I have a few seconds speeded up x8 and there is a glitch as the motion starts speeding up.

Any ideas why?

There a lots of possibities, and it would probably help to see what the original clip and the produced clip look like. You can upload them to YouTube or put them on Goolge Drive or OneDrive and poste a publicly-sharable link to them here. A screenshot of the timeline might also help.
