Hi everyone

I've tried all sorts of thing to find out how to do this, and I guess it must be relatively sim ple BUT I'm buggered if I can work it out right now.

I don't have "tools" showing above my video timeline, so I can't access Mask from there and I can't seem to find anything else that works.

Call me Mr Stupid but how do I do something that should be really easy?

Answers on a postcard, addressed to:

Mr Stupid
Stupid House
Stupid Street
Stupid
Stupidshire
ST00 P1D

Thanks in advance

Oh and it's Power Diredtor 365 I'm using!

In order for the Tools or Edit buttons to appear above the timeline, you first have to select a clip or clips. Does that help you get on with your editing?

EDIT EDIT EDIT

I told you all to call me Mr Stupid

Didn't spot the scroll down in the edit function, saw it and, well, embarrassed to say that what I need is there, staring me in the face.

What's the word?

Oh yeah....."D'oh!"

I do have that, and Edit appears no problem, but I can't see how I change the appearance into a circular frame

The image attached is from the Crop/Pan/Zppm menu and I can't see anything in there that might fit the bill.

Again, happy to be exposed for the Luddite that I am!

Cheers

You may want to use a circular mask instead. See this related thread for more details: https://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/118600.page . Let us know if this helps.

It was the mask bit I couldn't find on account of me being either blind or utterly inept. Take your pick from either!

I have found the functionality I need, all I have to do is get the mad dachshund to sit still for long enough to film him for the bit I'm creating!

Cheers
