I need to change the font size in the Title Designer. I know that I can scale the height and width of the "object" which can affect font size, but this is not helpful in my case as I only need the font enlarged, not the entire object.

Is there anyone who could please help?

If it makes a difference, I am attempting to use "TV Title 44" title which is categorised under the "News and TV Shows" category of titles you can download. It is the title which looks like a post it note. (so I want to be able to enlarge the font, but not the entire "post it note").

As far as I am aware there is no method of customizing the font size in the UI. From a brief look, it would seem that these titles are strictly defined templates, rather than fully customizable templates.

For example, if you save the title as a custom title - it will appear in the default location
C:\Users\[username]\Documents\CyberLink\PowerDirector\21.0\MyTitles\Title_001 or similar
The TitleTemplate.clt file contains all the "coding" variables for the title and I'm sure that in there somewhere will be the settings for the title font etc.
Certainly not an easy UI based alteration - which is what you are looking for, I think!!

You can change the font size in the Title Designer by selecting the text object and then going to the Properties panel. Under the "Text" tab, you should see a "Font Size" option where you can increase or decrease the size of the font. Make sure that you have the correct text object selected, as there may be multiple text objects within the title template you are using.

Also, you can use the shortcut key (ctrl+shift+> or ctrl+shift+< to increase or decrease the font size respectively, if you don't want to go through the Properties panel.

It is important to keep in mind that enlarging the font size too much may cause the text to become distorted or overlap with other elements of the title template. You may need to adjust the position and spacing of the text object or other elements to accommodate the larger font size.

Just to complete the picture - there are many titles that you can, of course, change many parameters - including font and font size.

But there are other forms of title that have no UI for font size, typically Motion Graphics titles for example.

The "TV Title 44" that you specified in your original post is one of those where you can change the font, font face and color but not font size. In such cases, you are left with editing the template file itself - not recommended as a normal user function - or playing with scale and position perhaps.
