The only way I can think of doing this is:

1. Add the background video (the mountain video) to the timeline again, so that it is on top of the other two videos.

2. Align the second mountain video with the original background video, i.e. same starting point and length.

3. Now use a brush mask to select the mountain in the foreground you want the cloud to go behind. See the help file for more information: https://help.cyberlink.com/stat/help/powerdirector/21/win/enu/14_03_03_creating_paint_masks.html

4. When you are done, click invert mask so that only the mountain is now shown in the top video.

Now, you will also have to use keyframes to adjust the position of the mask as the mountain moves. This will take a lot of work, so you may want to consider just taking a screenshot from the background video and using that instead, i.e. the cloud is moving through a motionless background.

Also, you did not specifiy which version of PowerDirector you have, so not sure if your version has the brush mask.

Thanks. It works perfectly. Good idea to pass objects thru other objects.
By the way, it is a pity that the AUTO BRUSH only works if one has a CPU that supports the AVX2 even having Windows 11.

This disadvantage ? has been overcome by RUNWAY - a 3rd party online editor.
