My audio file is invisible (blank) despite it playing fine. How can I fix this? (PowerDirector)

Hey everyone. I'm not sure how I did this, but I am editing a video and somehow my entire audio file is invisible. Yet, the audio plays perfectly fine. Thus, I cannot edit it or alter it in any way becuase the entire "editing line" is blank. In other words, I cannot see it. It's not there. The video file (to which the audio file is connected) is on the video line, so I can see that. But the audio line s blank even though the audio plays. I have checked every other line in the editing space. There is no trace of the audio file. I was 90% done with this project and now I cannot complete it because I cant fix any remaining audio issues. I would prefer not having to re-edit the whole thing but I have no idea how to fix this. Any ideas? Thank you in advance!

Not sure I remember one like this. Can you clarify which exact version of PDR and attach a screenshot of the timeline?

Go to Preferences/General and check the box to Show sound waveform in timeline. Let us know if this fixes the issue.

I am having this very problem. I have attached where the waveform in A1 shows a small waveform for o come o come emmanuel but not for A2. I am also attaching the check of "Show waveform".

Looking online, I tried also deleting the waveform cache and restarting

ok...I may be an idiot but it won't let me add the picture... even if I save a copy and try pasting. it wants a url with an https but its on my computer not on a url
