Film database is scrap

Hi

I don't know where the movie database came from but it's very bad. It doesn't find most films or they are displayed in the wrong language. This is outrageous for such a more expensive program. Please take Plex as an example. That finds 95% of the film and the language is always right.
I will refund my money!

Hello,

What movies are you looking for and what language is displayed? They should display in your PowerDVD UI language when viewing in PowerDVD.

You can also ask CyberLink to add newer movies if they haven't been added yet:

Hi

I'll give you an example. The German language would be correct for the films.

The films agree but the language is wrong

Hello,

Yes, you are right. Not all of the movies have translated content for them in the database. For example, your second movie Cry Macho info is only available in Japanese currently for some reason:

https://www.moovielive.com/movie/movie_info.do?discSetId=99954444®ionLanguage=ja_jp

You can check moovielive.com for the movie info and then make a request to CyberLink via the link I shared previously for it to be added.

Cheers

Hello.

I think a better solution would be for Cyberlink to switch from moovielive to TheMovieDb.com or imdb.com. Moovielive seems extremely limited in movies from the 20th century i.e 1974 Academy Award Winner - The Sting. I have 26 movies in my library that are listed in Japanese instead of my native language which is English.

I opened a support ticket about this issue and the incorrect solution was to right click on the movie and select Hide Online Movie Info. All that did was leave an icon showing 2 disks and a Japanese title.
