Andrew,

I downloaded the full version of Media Suite 8, not PowerDirector Ultra. When I go to burn my project to Blu-Ray, the only option is to burn directly to disc. There is no option to create a folder set, nor is there an option to burn an ISO. I thought this was just a flaw in the trial version, but it seems that even the full version forces you to burn directly to disc. This is not very flexible. Is there another solution if you do not want to burn directly to disc?

Does PowerDirector 8 Ultra allow you to burn to and ISO or create folder sets when burning Blu-Ray?

Have a look here http://forum.cyberlink.com/forum/posts/list/8131.page

This works for PD8 Ultra, not sure about your version I'm afraid.

Cheers,

Andrew

You guys seem to have HD rendering working so I just need to ask you.
I am using files from the Sony HDR-CX115E and PowerDirector just crashes every time I try to import a file.
No ammount of updating has fixed the issue and it's making the program completely useless to me.

Files are shot in 1080i mode with 24 Mbps.
I run Windows 7 x64 and both VLC and Windows Mediaplayer can play the files.

Is it a bug in PD or is some codec on my system interfering?

Hi,

Could you provide some further details on your system spec please? I vaguely remember updating to the latest graphics drivers solved this kind of problem for someone in the past.

Cheers,
